8:56a - Xmas fic #1
For: sanguia Request: Seth/Ryan
Title: Having Fun Fandom: The O.C. Genre: Anti-angst Rating: R for language and sexual references Comments: Okay, so she didn't so much as request it as show an interest, and I offered to make it her Christmas fic in the hopes of actually finishing it. Fairly pointless fluff that still (apparently) manages to cling to its masculinity. Don't ask me, I just wrote the thing. It's set an indeterminate point in the first season, right in the middle of the Seth/Anna/Summer triangle and at an off-point for Ryan and Marissa. Hopefully such a moment in canon time exists, or else I am just making this shit up. Yay.
( They are both, they agree, unlucky in love. )

2:12p - Xmas fic #7
For: villainny Request: Chidder/Teppic
Title: Pranks Fandom: Discworld Genre: Kind of silly romance Rating: PG Comments: This is based solely on the book, not on the characters as interpreted on the discworld_rpg. As per request :D It's very silly, very dialogue-driven, and contains far too many italics. I think I have RSI from inserting the tags. Wah. And no, there is no actual POINT to this fic, I just liked inventing pranks.
Enjoy, Nny darling!
( It started over breakfast, which is a good place for beginnings. )

3:38p - Xmas fic #5
For: ripedecay Request: SeishirouxSubaru, in the winter or late autumn when it's pretty cold, street venders and old shops, fire, and sudden warmth. Line - "May I?"
Title: The Shortest Day Fandom: X/1999 Genre: Angsty imagery. Thing. Rating: PG for language Comments: Um, this turned out quite differently than what I had envisaged. For once I didn't try and plan, I just typed and let the fic come out as it wanted. Which was; weird and general and without any names, so it stands as an original piece if you squint at it. Taking it as fanfic, though - it's AU, I guess, set six years after the events of TB.
Also: LJ says hurrah for very few italics tags.
( A cold breath; warm against cold lips, rather, spilling into mist )

6:10p - Xmas fic #2
For: dredpiratejenny Request: Enjolras/Grantaire
Title: Playing Games Fandom: Les Miserables Genre: Angst, pretty much Rating: PG Comments: Well, this ended up being a product of the book, the musical and the characters as portrayed in milliways_bar. Go figure. I would also like to state right now that I am nowhere near finished the actual book, so there could be massive issues I am unintentionally omitting. Ignorance is bliss.
( It is very cold, perhaps unseasonably so )

8:23p - Xmas fic #5
For: schiarire Request: Thom's POV (this is Thom/Alex)
Title: Aware Fandom: Milliways (Song of the Lioness) Genre: Porn! Maybe! Sort of! Mostly not! Rating: NC-17, but of the incredibly vague variety Comments: All right. This grew out of Ji saying she'd worship me if I could pull off Thom's POV because he's always so aware, and also this weird revelation I had when I was quite incredibly drunk at tammaiya's 18th. It was to do with thinking on three levels, and the deeper levels analysing the other ones. Um. Don't ask, just read. Written in a large part to 'Bitch' by Alanis Morissette. Ahahah.
( Alex is at a table when Thom finds him, drinking coffee with an odd expression on his face. )

9:31p - Xmas fic #3
For: amayanolune Request: Mordred and Galahad at night in the Library + lakes + moons + water birds and a phrase relating to freedom.
Title: Reflections Genre: Bit of angst, bit of violence, bit of sap Rating: PG Comments: This turned out a little bit sweeter than I had intended, but I figured you'd like it that way, Mars :D Hope you enjoy it.
( It was entirely illogical, Mordred had always said, to enjoy being in a library at night. )
|
9:50p - Xmas fic #4
For: tammaiya Request: Othello/Cassio
Title: Worst Case Scenario Fandom: Othello Genre: Er...romance? Sort of? Romance avec lashings of dramatic irony. Rating: R Comments: This started off in character and then just sort of leapt away and developed a mind of its own. Cassio turned into some kind of bizarre variation of Camille Desmoulins, which was so not meant to happen. I summed it up somehow... oh yes. Cassio = slut from hell. Iago = sulky bitch. Othello = confused (but popular!)
( Did I hear you correctly? )
